I have a certificate of purchase for a 80 acre tract of land deeded to Franklin Redfield from the United States dated Feby 23, 1839.The certificate is recorded in Tract Book 1 bage 96.It is described as:East half of the Northeast quarter os Section Eighteen (18), Township Five (5)South, Range Nine (9) West, eighty acres.The Amount of the purchase is $100.00.The property is deeded to a John Wood on August 12, 1840 by Franklin Redfield and Ann, his wife.No other info.My family bought the property 100 years later.The property is in Warrick Co. Indiana.
