Re: Redman/Rodman//Roadman/Redwood /Barbados connection
Through our research we have discovered that our Genealogist GFS had put Thomas Atkins as being married to Elizabeth John Scammons daughter, we now understand that Atkins is only mentioned and that Thomas is no longer a consideration. So John Scammon daughter Elizabeth married an Atkins but not Thomas Atkins.
Also I found a record of Thomas Redman son of Arthur baptized May 13 in the 1598-1788 records of Nettleton Lincolnshire England next to Thomas son of Bria (Brian Scaman) baptized Jan 1st 1598
andRobert Redman baptized October 1598
Ann Skaman Baptized March 9th
also Elizabeth Tailor daughter of John Tailor Baptized Oct 24th she possiblymarried John Scamon connected to the Scammon family in America as far as we know and then I have John Redman that I am researching that lived in Stratham N.H and he was born approx 1615 and he claims to have settled and established Hampton N.Hbeing the first planter and he is associated with the Taylors and the Scammons there.
I still keep John Scamon and Mary Scamon in my research who married Rodman.
