Hello!I was very happy when I saw your posting.I am very familiar with the Reed family as my Grandmother was a Reed.Yes!Jehu's Grandfather was Nathaniel Reed who married Celicia Spruill Reed.Jehu's father was Joel Sanders Reed who married Nancy Elizabeth Octavia Jane Hayes.What a long name!Joel's brother, James Wiley Reed was my 3-Great Grandfather.He married Tabitha Charlotte Powers, the first time and then he married Georgia Ann Burges, the second time.Nathaniel and Celicia Spruill Reed had 13 children:Delana, Margaret, Katherine, Nancy, Andrew, Stephen, Elizabeth, Isaac, James Wiley (my ancestor), Lodesska (Lodusky), Joel, Mary and Nathaniel.Jehu Reed had 6 children:Ether, Lonnie, Dewey, Hewey, Albert and Mayo.All are deceased, except for Albert's wife is the only one still living, Myrtle Copeland Reed.She is 95 years old and works at Roswell Funeral Home.Can you believe that?Which one of Nathaniel and Celicia children do you come from?Rosemary Little Adams lives in Woodstock, Georgia.
