I found Marthael Troester in the white pages on Internet--both her address and her phone number.I called and left a message on her phone recorder, but haven't heard from her yet.
Thanks for sending Linda my e-mail address.Perhaps Linda and Marthael are just plain tired of family research.Hopefully not, so we shall see.
I shall carefully watch for Ruth Tennessee Reeves.I thought that I remembered a Tennessee Reeves, but upon checking in two data bases, I found none, and not even a Ruth. Did you tell me who she married in Bedford County, Tennessee in 1883?
I have considerable information on our Elijah's(b.. 1819)brother, Absalom. Both Absalom and his wife died leaving smaller children--three (William, Henry and Minerva)went to live with Elijah and one, the youngest (Frances Lou, I think) stayed with Elijah and Absalom's mother, Nancy (Fox) Reeves, but she died several years later, and I do not have a record of what happened to her after Nancy died.
Cheers and keep in touch. Alice Craft
P. S.Surely I received the lineage that you posted for Absalom's descendants.I shall look further, and also look for the Gullets and Nichols descendants.
