Hi there Hugh
Thanks for getting back to me. It has been a long time since I posted those messages. I have kept instances of the surname Remnants/Remblance during my research and can possibly fill in some other gaps in the Remnants tree.
Charles junior married Phoebe Gates 26.10.1801 in Ditchingham and was buried in 1857, possibly Paston. He was there in the 1851 census. Charles sr married Elizabeth Love 11.7.1779 in Ditchingham and was buried 5.11.1824 in Ditchingham aged 71, after dying in Heckingham Workhouse.
Susan married Anthony Freestone on 3.5.1796 in Ditchingham. She was listed as Sussanne Ramlence in the banns. I haven't found a burial for her as of yet.
The most interesting thing is that you don't seem to have mentioned your Daniel's first wife, Elizabeth, nee Taylor. They married in Ditchingham 8.11.1805 in Ditchingham and I believe she committed suicide and was buried 24.7.1839 in Ditchingham aged 59!!! He then married Harriet in 1841. He was in Bungay Holy Trinity in the 1851 census and probably died there in 1854. I have Lydia's date of birth as 14.9.1786 and baptism on 28.9.1786
Some of this info has come from freereg and I haven't checked the originals so they need to be double checked.
Will be good to hear back from you.
