John Scott Rew - Missouri, Ireland, Scotland
I am really writing this because there are never any messages for the REWS.
I have been searching for 10 years! If any of this sounds familiar, please write.
I am still looking for the parents, brothers, sisters...of John Scott Rew b. Jan. 29, 1834 near Stirling, Scotland The first documented proof (other than birth date) is in 1864 St. Louis, MO when he married Kate(Catherine) Wallace (her mother's maiden name may have been Warren) who was born April 9, 1837 in Sligo, Ireland- (also looking for her mother, father, sister....)
John and Kate lived in St. Louis until John's death in 1906, buried in Bellefontain Cemetery.
Their children were named Lily Belle, Louise Scott, William Wallace, Charles Edward and Evageline Mary.
Kate and children moved to Shreveport, Louisiana where Charles was a doctor and they were active in the Episcopalian church.
Kate died in 1925 and is buried (sort of) in a mausoleum in Dallas, Texas with her son, William, Charles and Louise.
Their son William had one son named Wallace Bailey and he had one son named William Wallace.
I have checked passenger lists, and census from Scotland.
Possibilities might be
