Update, apparently, Philip Reynolds was left out of the loop.
When he brought the chancery case to Bedford Co Va Court, in 1844, he was unaware that in 1842 an agreement was reached between his siblings that is reflected in a deed that disbursed 209 acres of land, left by Jesse Reynolds.
All children were part of this disbursement but for Philip. There was a Howard Major there supposedly representing Philip? It is unclear if his mother, Mary, widow of Jesse knew of this deed.....D B 31: pp. 389-391, Reynolds Heirs Deed to Reynolds, September 6, 1842
