The following is the obit for Lucinda
The Brownsville Clipper
29 Dec 1892
"Mr. John A. Brashear and wife, and Mrs. Ames, of Maine, were here Sunday in attendance at the funeral of Mrs. Lucy Rhesa, whose remains were brought here from Maine, she having died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ames. Mrs. Rhesa was a sister of the late Brown Brashear, and after the death of her sister, Mrs. Capt. Isaac Woodward, remained at the head of the household until the Captain married again, after which she resided with her niece, Mrs. Dr. Reichard, and her nephew, Astronomer John A. Brashear, and latterly she made her home with her daughter in Maine, Mrs. Ames. The remains were interred in Christ Church graveyard on Sunday noon. The deceased had in her life time expressed a wish to be brought back to Brownsville and buried."
