It would help if you had the names of Thomas' children. I hit a stone wall with my search with my great-great granparents'(William Richardson & MaryAnn Coates) arrival from the UK circa 1888, at which time their daughter (my great grandmother) was 1 year old. They had three older sons :George, Robert and Joseph.
