I found Willima Butler Richmond on the 1900 Ripley Co. census with wife Matilda E.(Elizabeth) they have been married 23 yrs this would make him the William B. Richmond that married Elizabeth Payne on 1-24-1877. On the census has his parents as both being born in Tn.Also has Williams birth as Dec. 1853. John Richmond husband of Elizabeth Sullivan Richmond died ca. 1841 has Elizabeth married Rodgers on 10-21-1841 in Calloway Co. Ky.As for the Richmond in Carroll Co. Ar. dont believe that to be a son of John and Elizabeth either. If you look in Lawrence Co. Ar.1850-1870 there is a John Richmond born 1800 Va. later on the Richmond in Carroll Co. are in Lawrence Co. Ar. cannt find my census for when let me look and I can give youexactly who and when. I think its the children of Ezekeil and Catherine Richmond, Thomas or Greenberry.I have looked that maybe John Richmond did not die in Ky. he just left Elizabeth and children and went on to Ar and started another family.
