Re: John Richmond White County, Tennessee

There are 2 John Richmonds, they are both in Ky at same time and later family members move on to Ripley County,Missouri. The John Richmond that stays in Ky is not my John Richmond. My John Richmond was married to Elizabeth Sullivan and after John died she married Morley W. Rogers on Oct.21,1841 in Calloway Co. Ky.The line of Richmonds with son Ezekiel William D. Richmond that married Nancy Tucker say that they are not kin to the line from my John Richmond but I would think they are because of the fact that they travel the same path as my Richmond from NC>SC>TN>KY>MO.This line is confusing for sure. I have found info on a John Richmond born 1799 Va. living in Lawrence Co. Arkansas. This makes me wonder if my John really died or just left the family and started a new family in Arkansas.There is a book History of Ripley County that has info on John Richmond father of Ezekiel William D. Richmond if that is your line. Good to hear from another Richmond let me know if I can help. I have alot more info than I did when I posted this back in 2004.
