Dear Carlton:

You may want to check with the Gates Co. Historical Society to see if they have a copy of the 1920 Federal Census for Gates Co.Your grandfather may be listed in a Riddick household for that census.That is one way of finding out who his parents were.Also,what part of Gates Co. was he from? I may be able to check the next time I go down to Gates this year.
