David Leer Ringo-Ringo History

David Leer Ringo, Jr, b. 1-5-1912 in Hamilto, Ohio, passed away on June 20, 2009 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida at age 97. Dave was the son of David Leer Ringo Sr and Mattie Scott. He was married on 7-8-1939 to Ruth Jean McDonell in Covington, Ky. They had 4 chiildren:
A. David Leer Ringo, III, b. 4-25-1940
B. Philip Jansen Ringo, b. 2-23-1942
C. Peter McDonell Ringo, b. 9-17-1945
D. Nancy Preston Ringo, b. 7-3-1952

Dave was a life long genealogist and historian that was the guiding light in publishing the Ringo Family History Series in 1984.David and his wife Ruth travelled the world gathering our Ringo History and genealogy. I last spoke to him a couple of months ago. Even at age 97 his mind was clear and excited when discussing our Ringo History.
