The Ringo Family History reflects Mary M. Ringo, b. c1821, dau of Miliam Ringo & Priscillia Morris. Mary M. Married William F. Gibbons 0n 3-24-1851 in Lownes, Co, MS. She was living in Navarro, TX in 1851. We have info on her and her husband after that date, except her name was mentioned in the settlement of her father's estate. In regard to Mary M Ringo's father:

William Ringo, b. 1789 in Prince William Co, Va, s/o Jojm Ringo and Mary Mathis. Married Priscilla Morris on 2-28-1815 in Madison Co (AL) Miss. Territory. Priscilla was b. ca1800-1801 in N.C. William Ringo died 5-23-1852 at Columbis, Lownes Co, MS. Mary died after 1856, probably in Texas. They had 5 children: 1. Cynthia Caroline Ringo, b.1817, 2. Mary M. Ringo, b.1821, 3.___ Ringo, b. 1823, 4. Elizabeth Jane Ringo, b. c1825 and 5. Francis Adela Ringo, b. 1832. William Ringo served in the War of 1812; Enlisted 12-10-1812 as Pvt in Capt Renshaw's Co, Benton's Reg't, Tennessee Volunteers. Transferred Capt Newitt's Co on 2-10-1813 and appointed 3rd Corporal. Muster Roll 12-24-1813 from Rutherford Co, TE
