The Ringo Family History reflects Philip Jansen Ringo had no known relatives. Philip made joint wills with his business partner, Anthoni Crol.Anthoni Crol's part of the proceeds of the ships share and other captures while on voyages went to his brother. Philip's shres was to go to Crol on condition that he give 200 gilders to the Poor. Crol and Ringo were partners in 3 ships. the first was the La Garce (the wench), the 2nd was the Love. Soon after the purchase of this ship, Philip Ringo married Geertje Cornelis in 1647. After their marriage Philip got out of the pirate business. The 3rd ship was the New Netherlands Indian from which Philip Ringo was washed overboard in 1662 in the Atlantic Ocean.
