How many families go back 1023 years

Back in 988, Ghent, Belgium one of our Ringo ancestors was down at the church knocking the noses off the statues. A well documented event. From that date on the Ringo family was envolved in many event in European history. In 1640 Phillip Janszen Ringo, born in 1618 Zeeland, Holland came to America and made a good living in the pirate business. (1644-47). In 1984 we published the Ringo Family History Series, with an up date in 2001. Not many families can trace their genealogy 393 years. One of the interesting things about genealogy is we do the same things, generation after generation. So if you want to know the future of your family, check your genealogy.
