Lydia A. and Nancy M. Ringo of Scott Co., IN

Trying to confirm theancestry of Lydia A. Ringo (born KY ca. 1797) and her daughter Nancy M. Ringo (born KY ca. 1836) who were enumerated living in Lexington, Scott Co., IN in the 1850, 1860 and 1870 censuses.They were enumerated again in the 1880 census in the same place, Nancy as the wife of John S. Wilson and Lydia as his mother-in-law.There is a possible connection with an ELLIOTT family since in two of the censuses, they and the Ringos were apparently neighbors.The Ringo Family in America is of little help - indicating that Lydia Ann (born 1797 and who ended up in Scott Co.), the daughter of John Ringo and Nancy Ann Harrison, may or may not have married an Elliott.If that Lydia is the one in question, it would seem that she and her daughter would not have been enumerated under the name Ringo.Any thoughts would be appreciated.
