Doug,
I was talking to Dave and had came across a strange James Roark in the 1820 Clay County Kentucky census and couldn't figure out who he is. Dave told me that he found he was possibly married to a Pheobe Cornett. Do you think this james that popped up Clay County could be the James in your line?
I am also going to have my DNA done this coming year to see if will fill any gaps for me. I would like to see your results just to compare against Group B here:

Group B descends from Barnabas and its supposedly predicted R1B1 but nothing confirmed which I don't understand.
