Dorothy Queen Dorothy Bell Queen, 77, of Bremerton died May 26, 2001, in Bremerton. She was born June 29, 1923, in Osage County, Okla., to Jesse and Hallie (Trent) Roark. She graduated in 1941 from Snohomish High School and attended Central Washington Normal School. She married Carl Queen in Everett in 1954. He preceded her in death in 1992. She enjoyed quilting and politics. She was a Methodist. Survivors include three daughters, Andra Queen of Bremerton, and Gail Davis and Wanda Dawson, both of Bremerton; a brother, Lester Roark of Silverdale; two sisters, Lotus Boggs of Silverdale and Doris Griffith of Apple Valley, Calif.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Tracyton United Methodist. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Kitsap County, P.O. Box 3416, Silverdale, WA 98383.
