Here's what I have on William Robbins.I never was able to get back further on William.
1.First known American ancestor of this family per US,D2,31,VOL2, pg 731.
2.William was included in the land grant given to soldiers who took part in the campaign against the Mipmuchhs near Webster in King Phillips War, 1675 per "The Robbins Family"compiled by Frank Eggleston, Ann Arbor 1926-27. Located at Michigan State Library on Michigan Ave. 929.2 R63r.
3.William was said to be of Scotch ancesty but not proven.
4.Awilliams of Reading was made freeman 18 Apr 1691.
