I am trying to locate info re my Grandfather George b 1875. His Father also George and mother Jean (nee Johnstone). I found onein Morman Church born in Dunfirmline ,fife. His mother Janet and Father George.

However our verbal history claimed my grandfathers family came fro Orkney Is. Went to Canada where my grandfather born then back to Scotland before going to South Africa. George and possably a brother John fought in Boer war before George came to New Zealand about 1905 where our lot afrrived.
