ROBESON, Daniel or Daniel Robason, Elizabeth, NC Line, W39, soldier was born in Martin Cty, NC and he lived there at enlistment and he applied there Oct. 8,1832, widow applied 3 Nov 1845 Haywood Cty Tenn. at age about 84, soldier married Elizabeth Griffin 24 Nov 1785 in Martin Cty NC and soldier died there 9 Aug 1835 and in 1838 she moved to Haywood Cty Tenn,one Bryant Robeson of Haywood Cty Tenn made affidavit in Martin Cty NC in 1845 (relationship not given, one Simon Griffin made affidavit in Martin Cty NC in 1845, but did not state his relationship to soldier's widow,soldier's and widow's children were; Jasper, born 1787-Nancy, born 1789-Charity, born 1791-Griffin, born 1793-Elizabeth, born 1795-Armiza, a daughter born 1798, Daniel, born 1803-Clary, born 1804-Bryant, born 1809-Elizabeth 2nd, born 1811.Also shown were Joel and Armiza, twins of Joel and Armiza Pery (prob. should be spelled Perry) born 1837, Melvina Robertson, wife of Bryan Robertson was born 1815 and they were married 1833,and their children were: Thomas H. Benton Robertson, born 1835-Marry Ann Frances, born 1836-John Daniel, born 1838. Also shown were children of Ebenezer and Armiza Lilley, towit; Hyman, (might be Hiram)born 1817-Thomas T, born 1821-Enoch, born 1822-Daniel, born 1826-LewEizer Jain, born 1839 and George Washington Lilley-born 1841. Also shown were: Nancy Elizabeth, daughter of Bryan and Melvina Robertson born 1843. Also shown were children of Reuben and Charity Robeson, towit; Armiza, born 1813, Drupiney, a daughter born 1817. Deaths shown were: Jasper Robeson died 1823, Nancy Robeson died 1795, Clarisa Robeson died 1822, Elizabeth Robeson died 1817 and Daniel Robeson died 1835. Surname was shown as Robeson and Robason.
