HARMON COX, b. 1812 Robeson Co.

Does anyone know anything about a
HARMON COX who married an Esther Ivey
in Robeson County, NC?He was born circa
1812 in NC.Don't know which county.
I can find Harmon in the 1850 Robeson
census, but I run into a wall there.
I cannot determine who his parents were.
Harmon's name is sometimes seen spelled
as Harman, and sometimes as Hanner.
His children were: William Pinkney Cox,
Caiphus, Lewis C., Isabelle, Memory,
Harmon, and Gilbert.
In 1850, he is living very close to
an older Gilbert Cox.This makes me suspect
there is a relationship there.But,
I cannot find anything to support this
other than the proximity.
Apparently, "Harmon" was a popular name
for the Quaker Coxes living in Randolph
County, to the north of Robeson.
So, there may be a connection there too.
Again, I have not found it.
Any help would be appreciated.
