Linda,
All these families are peripheral to mine, but there were Weddings, Cawoods, Smallwoods, and Robeys living in the Zekia Manor area of Charles Co., MD in the early 1700s. Naturally, there are connections among families.
No one named Berry is in my 1700-person index. Besides what I have in my records, I quickly found today:
"Randy Ancestors of Nathan O. (D) Wynn"
http://members.aol.com/lunetta595/Records/AddCorr/randy.htmhttp://members.aol.com/lunetta595/Records/AddCorr/randy.htm
This site has good documentation that you can use to confirm its information.
It lists John Winn, b. 1720 (son of John Winn, 1680-1752 and Anne Smallwood, 1700-1752) who in 1738 married Sarah Robey, 1723-1777). She was the widow of Jacob Robey whom she married in 1734. Her birth name was Sarah Berry.
Another online descendants list is "My Wynn Ancestors" by Laura Stewart Civey"
http://lauracivey.tripod.com/Wynn.htmlhttp://lauracivey.tripod.com/Wynn.html
This site has some of the same information but none of citations of sources
Another site is "Descendants of Matthew Smallwood"
http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/1949/MSMALLW.htmlhttp://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/1949/MSMALLW.html
It has much of the same data.
It also includes Humphrey Berry who married Mary Smallwood. Their son, Humphrey Berry, Jr., inherited the plantation, "Smallwood Plains."
Another site, "ACREE/SACHSE/HOOVER/OGDEN/SKIPWORTH/NELSON/TENEYCK/
WILLIAMSON & ASSOCIATED FAMILIES"
http://users.wirelessfrontier.net/~acree/fam00220.htmhttp://users.wirelessfrontier.net/~acree/fam00220.htm
mentions Sarah Berry (daughter of Samuel Berry and Ann Cawood) who married (first) Jacob Robey in 1734 and then John Winn in 1738.
I hope this helps you find what you're looking for.
Ken
