Right after I posted the last message I was poking through the Acadian Church Records Volume 4 and spotted the following entry:March 29, 1718 Baptism---Marie Joseph Petitot born Feb 16, 1718 and baptized because it being winter and a long distance from the church by Denis Petitot surgeon
Daughter of Denis Petitot, the son and and Marguerite Landry
Sponsors:Claude Landry the father and Marie Robichaux wife of Sieur Denis Petitot.

It would seem that this child was baptised by her own grandfather!
