John:I'd say there's a good chance that your Mary in South East, NY, is that daughter of Jonathan & Esther Rockwell of Ridgefield.At Ridgefield, she is the only Mary in this time perioed except for one who died at age 3 in 1736.Nor any good candidates noted in other Fairfield Co. towns.As you may know there was considerable movement between Fairfield Co. and the "Oblong" border towns such as Southeast, now in Putnam Co., NY.
Unfortunately, the marriage record for Jonathan and Esther doesn't give her maiden name, just that it was in October of 1733.
