See my response to Bob's second query, just above.Jonathan who married Esther was indeed son of Jonathan and Abigail (Canfield) Rockwell.Jonathan Sr. was the first of the line in Ridgefield, though his brother Thomas also settled there, he didn't have a son Jonathan.
