Re: Robert Rogers, NH Rangers
My family tree includes a Hannah Rogers, b abt 1738 who was married to Ephraim Moor of Bow, New Hampshire in abt 1759. Also living in the town of Bow NH at that time was a Samuel Rogers who, according the book "100 Acres More or Less" (a History of Bow NH), the son of James Rogers of Dunbarton and brother of Robert Rogers of Ranger fame. I have been trying to determine whether my ancestor Hannah (Rogers) Moor was a sister of Robert Rogers and the daughter of James Rogers (who had also lived in Bow).
A great source for information on Robert Rogers of Rogers' Raiders fame, may be found in the book "Memoir and Official Correspondence of Gen. John Stark" authored by Caleb Stark, grandson of the General and a resident of Dunbarton NH. This book is available at the NH Museum in Concord, NH for about $32 and has a 100 page biography of Robert Rogers.
