HERMAN G. ROSENDAHL
JANUARY 6, 1911
The death of Herman G. Rosendahl, third son of Mr. and Mrs. Ubbe Rosendahl, who resides on the Stoddard place south of this city, occurred at six o'clock Thursday (Jan.5) morning at the Chatsworth Sanitarium, following an operation for acute appendicitis. While coming home from a visit at Benson a week ago last Monday, he was taken violently sick, but recuperated, and Sunday last he was again attached by the disease and on Monday was taken to the sanitarium and an operation was performed, but no hope of his recovery was entertained.
Herman Gerald Rosendahl was born in Flora, Clay county, March 5, 1893, and came to Chatsworth six years ago with his parents. He was a young man highly esteemed, and his early death is a saddening blow to the members of his family and his large circle of friends.
He is survived by his parents; two sisters--Mrs. Tjaden, of Benson, and Miss Cassie, at home; five brothers--George, Martin, Lambert, Andrew and Adolph, all at home; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The funeral services will be hold at the Chatsworth German Lutheran church on Saturday afternoon at one o'clock, Rev. Koepp, of Charlotte, officiating, and the interment will be at the Chatsworth cemetery.
