Re: Florida Ross Lineage
Dear D. Burns:
I do not know how old you are, so it is difficult for me to pinpoint which (if) generation you may stem from.I do not have a lillian listed in my tree, but I have lots of holes.
Basically this is what I do have:
Francis J. Ross (1785-1850, somewhere in the Carolina's) had 3 sons: James L. (1810-1900); William R. (1808-1852 who married Honarine G. Guatier, 1814-?); and Seaborn J. (1820-1910 who married Sarah).
I do not have any information of Seaborn's children, if he had any.
William B. had the following: William H. (1839-?, AKA "BIlly Roux", Charles H. (1837-?, married twice...Martha A. Paschall and ? Patten); Clemantine M. (1844-); Allier (1846-); Francis F. (1849-); Adolphus Alonzo Sr. (1843-1895, who married Emma A. Francis, 1846-1928).
Charles H. & Martha had: Clementine (1864-1958, who married John Augustin Hayes); Malinda (1867-) Anneta (1866-) and a baby that lived only a year.
Adlophus & Emma had: Adolphus Jr. (1869-); James Francis (1892-1960, who married Ruth Opal Mason); Genevieve; Hulbert F. (1876-) and Ralph (1870-).
My Family stems from James L.He had a least one son, Lorenzo Dow (1837-, who married Inez Hart, 1845-) and they had Amos H. (my gr-grandfather 1875- who married Daisy B. Emanuel, 1876-); Daniel; J. Gertrude (1870-1925, who married Ransom Ren Ricou, 1866-1925); William, Leslie, Percy & Archibald.
You might also stem from one of these brothers.
Hope this has been of some help to you, or at least some clues of where to start looking. If you have any other questions, please contact me directly at [email protected] Luck
