I wonder if anyone has access to a Directory for London in the interwar period 1918-1938
Frank H Round is likely a relative of mine and I simply know he was active as a portrait (and perhaps other subjects artist) in the inter-war period - and exhibited at the Royal Academy, and I possess the second state of an engraving of a old lady's face.
In 1913 he painted watercolours for a book on Irises. He was a drawing master at Charterhouse School (Surrey) at that time.
The H in his name was Harold at birth - but a 1913 listing had Howell - which may be a mishearing for Harold, or could signal an entirely different person.
