My ggrandfather Joshua Esau Rownd was a rancher near Woonsocket or Wessington Springs, South Dakota. He was married to Bridget Ann Kenney and had 3 children, George Kenney (my grandfather), Marie (m. Morgan),and Bernard (died young).I have come across variations of the Rownd surname in several data bases on the SD GenWeb:
