John W. Rumple- Obituary-Buried Ohio Cemetery, Ladora, Iowaa
The following is an item found in the big Risdon Bible, that was in possession of my great grandmother, Mary Emma Risdon, daughter of Henry Baltzell Risdon and Elizabeth Ann Rumple. She married, George H. Beemer. A copy of several Funeral notices and a Memorial card were sent to me in 1965, at which time a sister of my mother, copied this data, the Bible then located in Lyons, Burt Co. Nebraska.

Bell.Memorial for Mary Jane Shaull, nee Rumple (see these under appropriate surnames on this site) and the following obituary for John W.Rumple (no names or dates of newspapers were included).
John W. son of Daniel S. & Mary J. Rumple was born in Seneca County, Ohio, November 8, 1854 and died at his late home, March 28, 1916.He came to Iowa County with his parents in 1865. On Feb. 5, 1889 he was married to Miss Clara Shaull who preceded him in death, Dec. 3,1908.He became a member of U. B. Church at Ohio many years ago. He leaves to mourn his demise three children, W. E., Bessie M. and Emma A., four grandchildren, one brother, two sisters.One brother and two sisters having preceded him. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. M. B. Krous and interment was Ohio Cemetery.
