Thomas Russum lived N.Y. in 1924
Is anyone out there descended from, or know of Thomas Russum who lived in White Plains, N.Y. (12 Seneca Ave) and had office in N.Y, City on 42nd St in 1924?
He did research, himself, and hired a Mrs. Leticia Wilson to research Maryland records to try to find parents of his grandfather, Thomas Bayley Russum (b.1 June 1811) Mrs. Wilson travelled to all the Eastern Shore counties and made notes of all the Russum records she found.
Some of Mrs. Wilson's notes and Mr. Russum's letters to her are filed in Maryland, but her reports to Mr. Russum were not copied and saved.(I obtained copies about 20 years ago and though I don't recall exactly, I think it was from the Maryland Historical Society)
It is possible that the reports she sent to Mr. Russum are still around... lying in an old trunk somewhere... and would provide some additional information.
If anybody can help, please contact me at [email protected]
