I do not speak portuguese (I am fluent in spanish).It appears that your family left Spain in the mid 1750's for Brazil, there have been Sardina's in Portugal for about 800 years from the family tree we have.You may very well be a distant relative of ours.THe family was originally centered in Madeira and we imigrated to Spain hundreds of years ago.
