Sardina/Galicia/New York Connection

Hello Sardina family!

My name is William Kamenel, the son of Rosario Sardina and Ted Kamenel.My mother's parents came from El Ferrol (Grandfather, Enrique Sardina) and La Coruna (Grandmother, Margarity Fernandez)in Galicia.They arrived in New York in the beginning of the twentieth century.

They had five children who survived to adulthood: Geraldo, Josefina, Rosario, Encarnacion and Enrique.

I understand that my cousin, Jerry (Sardina), visited some web site recently and saw an inquiry from a "Carmen", living in Spain, about Sardinas from El Ferrol/Galicialiving in NY.I haven't been able to find that web-site to answer Carmen.The family she is looking for might be us.
