Thank you for responding, Edilia! I'm so glad to hear from you. Your grandmother, Refugio, was a first cousin of my grandmother, Aurelia. She was born in 1914 and also died in 2003. The Tubutama and southern Arizona reference matches what my grandmother would talk about (referring to where she came from). Manuelita, Aurelia's mother and sister of your great grandmother, Francisca, is buried in Sonoita, Sonora. We have a photo of the gravesite and my aunt actually visited it years ago. My aunt also has a photo of Aurelia, some of her sisters and Refugio as young gals (late teens, early twenties). I will try to get copies of these from her, scan them and email them to you. Maybe you have some photos in addition to that family history you were talking about? We may be able to identify people in photos that you (or your family) may not, and vice versa. My preferred email address is [email protected] Please feel free to contact me at your convenience. I live in San Diego, CA. Do you live in AZ?
