Re: Sardiña in Gallicia

Hello there, your grandfather would have been my great uncle. My grandfather was Jose Antonio Sardiña Prieto who was from Pontedeume/Ferrol area as far as my mother tells me. I remember my mother telling me that he had a brother called Florentino, and a sister called Presentacion, among other brothers and sisters whose names I don;t know. We know very little about my grandfather's family as he never really spoke very much about it. He died in Almeria in 1984 never having returned to his home country. I was recently in Coruña and Santiago and was surprised at how at home I felt. Any information you can give regarding the Sardiña family would be greatly appreciated.
