KK:I can tell you a little of the Sartain/Sartin/Certain group.They were in Culpepper Co VA at one time, Warren and Bute Co NC and in Wilkes Co NC where my gr gr grandfather, Kelley Sartain/Sartin was born about 1800. He married Nancy Beshears also in Wilkes Co.Many of the Certain's went to GA. Job Certain who was a brother to Jacob,Josiah and Joel. Job married Nancy Kelley, who many think was the father of my Kelley....but don't think so. I have more info that his father was James Certain/Sartin who mar Elizabeth Viars. I know this isprobably not much help but the father, John, of all these guys did move to GA. John Sartin mar Anna Adkins in 1730 VA.
