Many, many thanks for the information posted here which I've just found. Since the original post here I have (with much assistance from others) found quite a bit more information on Hannah & her family. New research into her surviving quilts has been fascinating & led to more details coming to light.
Hannah’s son by her 1st husband, Jonathan Perry Wood, was married 3 times (all names & dates inscribed in his Bible)- m.1 (2 Feb.1840 Piqua, Miami, Ohio by Rev. Bela Badger) Isabel Compton/Crampton (1 Apr.1825-27 Mar.1849)- 5 children m.2 (7 Sept.1849 Montgomery Co., Ohio) Lucinda Ziler (16 June 1826 Morgan Co., Va.-27 Feb.1861)- 5 children m.3 (22 Oct.1861 Montgomery Co., Ohio) Mary Ann Heckathorn (14 Feb.1828 Waynesburg?, Penn.-11 Aug.1900 Dayton, Montgomery, Ohio)- 2 daughters
The photograph of ‘Maud Thompson’ was taken in New York City & is not Jonathan’s daughter Maud Winona Wood but the daughter of Hannah’s son Frederick Seth Thomson (c1823-1891)- thus Hannah’s grand-daughter. Maud Thomson (Apr.1864 N.Y.-19 Feb.1942 Manhattan) married 1889 Edward Raymond Fitzmorris but had no family. The photograph was inherited by Maude Winona Wood passed down through the family.
