My Grandmother's second husband was a SAVANT, her maiden name was J. Clara GAJUS (born May 4, 1887 died Oct. 4, 1961).Her first husband's name was Charles EICHENLAUB.She had one daughter named Helen (born Aug. 16, 1911 died Oct. 14, 1961). She had two children by her second husband, Carl Savant (died in 1986) and my mother Dorothy Clara Savant (born Jan. 17, 1915 and died July 1985).My grandmother moved her family from Illinois (a mining community is all I know) in the late teens or early 1920s to Cincinnati, Ohio.Hope this is of some assistance.
