Re: Louisiana Savant history since 1722

I would love it if you could help me.The Savant's in my family aren't really "blood related".I tell you the story:

My father George Patrick Parham (born 5/5/1942) married his second wife Gwen (maiden name unknown).They had two children:Felicia and Max.George an Gwen divorced and Gwen remarried a man named "Doc" Savant.I don't know if Doc was his real name or a nickname, but that is the only name I have for him.Doc Savant adopted Gwen's two children from her first marriage.Felicia and Max dropped thier Parham name and took on the Savant surname.

I am the "family historian" and although I am not directly related to the Savant's, I would like to trace the line for my half brother and sister.
