My mother was Anna Savant, a descendant of Pierre Mathiew Savant. I have some information on the Savants, but was not aware that that Pierre was a soldier, or was the soldier someone else?I am also interested in the Savants who migrated to Kinder, La., Lake Charles, Texas, etc. I lost track of some on the descendants of Jean Pierre somewhere along the way/
