Hi Lia,
I belatedly noticed your message in the genealogy forum concerning Arthur Savant in Ville Platte in the late 1800's.You have probably found the information your were looking for by now. If not, I have some information on my great uncle Arthur Savant born Jan. 8, 1898. His father was Amadee Savant. I have very little information on Arthur's descendants, so if this is the Arthur you were looking for, I would be glad to exhange information.
