Yes, I agree, they have their work cut out for them. I worked on that line for a very long time, with no good results, until finding that I could delete it and start a new search. It came as an actual relief, and with it dropped away another particularly problematic family whose name escapes me just now. There were NOTHING but problems with that group, with mothers marrying 20 years after the children being born, name changes from one generation to the very next, children being named for the mother because the father died or some such bull. I didn't believe a word of it, it sounded to me like someone did junky research and ended up just guessing, or worse - made things up out of thin air. I never did find some of the towns and areas listed for that family. Something about L'Hay D'ectot if I recall. Every bit of it, from dates to names to places - a real mess. I feel satisfied with what I've found, with help from some wonderful researchers primarily on the Boudreau board. It's not ready to "publish" but is fun to look at nevertheless. This field is full of frustration, but the rewards make up for it.
