Likely the Benjamin b. 12 jun 1750 Hebron, Ct. son of Isaac 1721-1786.Married 5 nov 1769 Sarah Dewey.
Listed in Eleanor Sawyer's "Sawyer Families of New England" as "In Caanan NH 1782, 1790".
This family can be found on WorldConnect.

Ben Sawyer and Sarah Dewey had:
Sarah 1770; Mary Ann 1772; Lydia 1774; Ben, jr 1776(MA); Joseph 1778.

Ben, jr and Polly had:
Prudence 1798; Daniel 1800.

From a note found on WorldConnect:
'I have a copy of a typewritten page from "Prudence Sawyer's Bible" which seems to refer to members of your family. It is dated "1852-1882" for some inexplicable reason. It states it is "The Property of Prudence Sawyer" and below that reads "Presented to Solon Lacey by his Mother 1853." It then refers to Benj. Sawyer married to Sarah in November 1769 -- a Sarah Sawyer born July ? 23 -- an (indistinct) Sawyer Born April ? 1772. The Bible records are the property of the Western Reserve Historical Society"

In the 1850 census, Benjamin (age 74 b. MA) and Polly (age 72 b. MA) are in a Warrensville, OH Shaker family (also in this family a William Lacy, age 70 NH)
