Hugh Sawyer, 1775-1832, NC

I am searching for any information about Hugh Sawyer.He was apparently born about 1775.He appears in the 1830 census of Buncombe County, North Carolina.I believe he died about 1832 in Buncombe County.He is the father of my gg-grandfather Archibald Sawyer.
I have lots of information from Archibald on down and would be happy to share with anyone who is interested.
