Sorry Amanda but I don't recall running a cross an Abner Sawyer and as far as I know my Sawyer line has no ties to the Norfolk area. But you never know so here is the information you asked for:

Hugh Sawyer had at least eight children.I am sure that three of his children were Archibald (1819-1878), William (b.1822), and Elizabeth (b.1828).I also believe other children to be Thomas (b.1823), John (b.1829), Reubin (b.1830), and James (b.1831).

I descend from Archibald Sawyer who married Elizabeth Fox.Their children were John (1846-1851), William A.(1848-1853), James Thomas(b.1850), Grayson Yancey (1853-1916), Jacob Daniel (b.1856), Ann L.(1858-1862), Mary Barbara (b.1860), Archibald Alexander(1863-1936), Nancy E. (b.1866), and Caroline Savannah(1870-1892).

I have additional information so if any of these names rings a bell let me know and I'll be glad to share what I have.
