Do you know of any SCALLIONs in Mississippi?I have been told that a SCALLION was my g-g-g-g-grandfather, but I can't quite makethe connection.Have been told that a SCALLION, (maybe Jesse), married ?,(maybe a LITTLE), about 1815-20, (don't know where)then Jesse died, leaving three children, George W, John R and Martha Ann and maybe one more. The children were placed under guardianship of a known relative of mine, Seth ROSS, brother to my g-g-g-grandfather David ROSS.David Ross married Louisa J, (Scallion?) about this time. This (guardianship) took place in Tallahatchie Co, MS in l847.A lot of the Scallion names in previous posts are in this line:Eliza J, Jesse, Martha, John R, George W, Gerald, and Lavinia.Does any of the above connect with your Scallions? Please e-mail.Thanks.
