Mrs. Nancy A. Scates Dies 1941 Obit

"Mrs Nancy Ann Scates, 85, a native of Illinois, died at 7:05 o'clock this morning at her home, 1316 Willow, where she had lived for 29 years.She had been ill 10 days.
Mrs. Scates came to Indian Territory in 1893 with her husband who died in 1911.Surviving are six children, M.E. Scates, Mrs. Gussie Jobert, and Mrs Lena Petty, all of Duncan, and Mrs. Bessie Walton, Mrs. Florence Calhoun, and Mrs. Ethel Guymes, (Guynes) Chickasha.
Mrs. Scates was a member of the First Baptist Church.Funeral services, directed by the Rangeley-Goodman Funeral Home, will be held at the church at 3 p.m. tomarrow. Burial will be in the Duncan Cemetery.
